In the podcast, Break Up, Starlee Kine suffers a life-changing breakup with her boyfriend. I wanted this teaser to show the ending of a relationship in an interesting way. I chose to create an image of a couple in an intimate moment, where details of their faces slowly start to break apart, crumble, and float away until nothing is left. The environment is blue representing sorrow, but the particles have a slight magical quality. This is to represent that breakups, although sad, are also a period of growth in life, as Starlee has discovered.Cinema 4D
