In the film, Nathan believes he is in complete control, confident that he has planned everything perfectly and can manipulate Ava. He thinks he knows exactly how things will play out. However, Ava waits patiently, and when the time is right, she reveals that she was in control the whole time. In one swift and merciless move, she kills Nathan, proving that his sense of power and control was just an illusion.

Typography

I used the typefaces Abel and Georgia to show the contrast between technology and humanity. Abel’s clean, modern look represents the sleek and futuristic side of artificial intelligence, while Georgia’s classic style adds a more human and emotional feel. Together, they reflect the film’s theme of blending machines with human qualities.

Process

For this title sequence, Cinema 4D was my main tool for creating the visuals. After rendering, I used Lightroom for color correction to achieve the desired tone and mood. In Photoshop, I worked on refining the visuals by adjusting levels, channels, and other elements. I also used InDesign to adjust the kerning of the typography, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Finally, the type was brought back into Photoshop, where I edited the typefaces to integrate them seamlessly with the visuals and complete the design.
